FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa: Vuvuzela, Hate It or Join The Noise.

Talking/mentioning about this year biggest sporting event, the FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa, you can't escape from bringing up the Vuvuzela issue. Yes. The sound of swarm of wasps-like hum is coming from your telly. No it is not your expansive multi surround home theater about to explode but it is the sound of the hundreds if not thousands horn like thing called Vuvuzela.

Of course i can't comment on how exactly loud it is, as i am not physically there in the stadium amongst the spectator; but i can say that listening it through the home theater, i can say it is pretty loud.

The sound of the Vuvuzela is kind of funny and some sort novelty for a couple of matches. Then it started to become annoying. Being used to hear the chanting of rivals supporters, the "ooohhh" and the "aaahhh" unison by spectators whenever any scoring chances are missed, the clapping of applause and singing of football songs; i really missed that atmosphere in this world cup.

At first i thought i wouldn't mind the brain drilling monotone of the darn thing but it does gets to me now. It is so annoying, and i felt robbed of my world cup experience. Though it seems that the people that went there to watch the world cup for themselves didn't seem to be too much bothered, so i think i might be overreacting.

So i decided to find the funny side of it. Well it ain't that difficult. The video is "Gandalf Goes To The World Cup".

If you're reading this from my Facebook notes, you will not see the video. Do click the View Original Post to see it. i have to say this out loud, this video is so freaking hilarious. It cracks me up every time i watch it.
